Preston High graduates, Ari Kasprowicz and Craig Pritt, shared the limelight as the Dominion Post's #3 Sports Story of 2009. Kasprowicz won two state championships (3200 and 1600 meter runs) while Pritt won a title in the 800 meter run. Kasprowicz also set the state meet record in the 3200 meter run. Kasprowicz is now competing for Syracuse University while Pritt runs for Concord University.
