G Basketball - PHS Cruises Past Grafton for Win #10

The Preston Knights let everyone know early who was going to win between them and Grafton. PHS used a suffocating defense and a 21-4 second quarter advantage to blow open the game against the Bearcats. PHS led 37-14 at intermission. The Knights extended their lead to 30 points by the end of the third period. Preston won the contest 56-35.
Everyone contributed in the win in some way. Mackenzie Martin played as good of a complete game as one could. Kenz scored a team high 14 points. She had a team high nine assists. Kenz also had team highs in rebounding with 10 and in blocked shots with six. Ashly Plum was perfect from the floor on the night going 6-6 in scoring 13 points. Michele Groves also had a good shooting night scoring 12 points to go with a team high four steals. Heather Clark chipped in with four points and three steals. Morgan Ball, Kayla Boggs, and Sammi Ash all scored three points. Hannah Bolyard and Ashden Shaffer scored two points apiece. Ashley Shrout contributed two steals and two assists. Kyrsten Slaubagh added five rebounds. Keryssa Slaubaugh notched a steal and a rebound. Carly Kelley added two steals on the defensive end.
